Thurs, 5/26 - Fatima - All Day Ere Day!

Early morning with 6:30am outdoor Mass at the Apparitions Chapel.  It was beautiful as Portugal celebrates the Feast of Corpus Christi today and not Sunday - so Fr. Ray gets to celebrate the Feast twice.  As Mass was ending the rising sun was illuminating the chapel and shining on Fr. Ray.  After Mass we walked back to the hotel for breakfast and then took a two hour tour of the homes of the children, the small town Church where they were baptized, and the Fatima Churches and museum.  We then had some free time for lunch and whatever before we walked the outdoor Way of the Cross, which follows the path the children took to the apparitions.  A little more free time followed before our final dinner and the evening Rosary Procession at 9:00pm.  We leave the hotel at 3:00am to catch our 6:00am flight from Lisbon to Paris, enjoy a four hour layover in Paris and hopefully arrive in Dulles around 4:15pm.
